Policies and Procedures
Balance Chestnut Hill Policies and Procedures
Thank you for taking part in personal training and group fitness classes at Balance. Below are the policies and procedures that allow us to be most efficient and provide the best service possible.
Expiration Policy: All purchased training sessions or classes expire 12 months after the date of the first training session/class used (unless otherwise stated). Any training sessions/classes that remain after the expiration date will be forfeited. If you are physically unable to continue training, you must bring a doctor’s note. You must make special arrangements in advance regarding any prolonged travel plans. 30 day packages cannot be frozen. You are permitted to temporarily freeze 90 day or Annual training or class packages in the case of unexpected travel or temporary injury or illness at the discretion of the ownership. The maximum allowed will be 60 days or 2 periods of time within 12 months.
Tardiness Policy: You are expected to begin working out at the start time of the scheduled training session or class. A late start time does not automatically assume a session longer than the scheduled appointment. If the trainer’s schedule permits, you will be able to train for the originally scheduled period of time. If you are 5 minutes late for a cycling class without notice, you cycle may be given to someone on standby.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy and Procedure: Last minute cancellations or attempts to reschedule are inconvenient for other clients and studio operations in general. While we will make every effort to be flexible and accommodate your schedule, if you need to cancel a training session or class reservation you must do so by calling or emailing within 24 hours of the appointment time. If for any reason you do not call within 24 hours of your appointment you will forfeit your training session/class and be charged the associated rate. If special circumstances call for it and the trainer’s schedule permits, we may agree upon a shorter notice period, in which case you will not forfeit your training session/class. The determination of whether circumstances warrant, or schedule permits, are decisions which will be left to the ownership.
