Class Descriptions – Class Schedule
Yoga – is the merging of movement and breath to become one. Vinyasa Yoga brings together the mind, body, and breath through the use of asanas. Each class is a unique blend of the teachings that flow together like a dance. Classes are challenging, fun and adaptable for all skill levels.
Pilates- This fun class known as the Pilates “method” is a system of exercises that help with flexibility, coordination and strength. This class tones and strengthens muscles without making you bulky. The two key elements of Pilates are core muscle strength and spinal alignment. If you want to tweak your body, lose a few pounds and tone the muscle you have, Pilates is the place for you.
Fit Factor - This highly efficient full body cardio strength combination class will help you gain confidence by building your muscle tone. This strength class consists of functional resistance exercises. This workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, lunges, push ups and more!
Morning Rush – This high intensity class is a great full body class incorporating a broad range of athletic movements. It’s a great way to start your day to get that intense cardio burn while toning the full body.
Kick and Strength – One hour class combining cardio kickboxing, body condition and focused core work. A power packed fusion workout.
Indoor Cycling – A cardio workout on a State of the Art - Keiser stationary bike based on cycling principles. Classes are technique based and/or real terrain based and focus on cadence, heart-rate zones, climbs & sprints that can make a unpredictable ride that is fun and challenging. Burn at least 500 calories per class. You will love this class – check it out!! Bring your own cycling shoes with Shimano clips or wear sneakers. Inner Strength -Build a strong core, develop your abs, improve your posture, tone your entire body using the combined methods of TRX suspension, yoga & pilates. Be prepared to strengthen your body, quiet your mind and redefine your physique from head to toe.
Stretch- get ready to get flexible. This class will help you loosen up those tendons and tight muscles, so you can move through your day with ease. The more flexible you become from the class, the less injuries you will encounter. So get ready to stretch it out back to your childhood body.
BootCamp- Time to get that butt back into shape with the sergeant. Short in stature but big in fitness, the general will put you through a tough workout. This class is what our motto is about “Training for the Mind and Body.” He will be working out your body while your mind will help you push through to success. Be ready to work hard.
Cardio Box- This hour long class will not only help you whip your own butt into shape but will help you kick other’s as well. This intense class not only gets a good sweat out of you but it tones those legs, increases your stamina, and ups your alertness. So if you’re having a rough day just come punch and kick all that stress out of your body.
Ab-Session- summer is coming ladies and gentlemen. Get out of that winter funk and get into this class where we will guarantee you that nice bikini body. Our workouts will shape and tone those abs that we all dream of having.
Work-it Circuit Training- this class gives you series of mini workouts that will work out all areas of your body. This repetitive and on going cycle keeps the heart rate up and helps the body get use to the motion. This timed cycle not only is a race to see how many you can do correctly but also is a race to push through the pain the best.
TOTAL TRX – this training is the full package. It works on functional strength, flexibility, balance, and core stability in every exercise. This is how the Navy Seals train, why not challenge yourself get a ripped body like we know they all have. Total Body Conditioning – is a high intensity class designed to maximize calorie expenditure while tightening and toning those “key” trouble areas of the body. This is the perfect class for those of us who are looking to get in great shape quickly. Our instructor Matt will give you the best workout you are capable of at your level, all the while improving your core strength, flexibility and posture.
Sculpt, Tone and Transform - A high energy workout focusing on exercises targeting the whole body, arms & shoulders, abs, glutes, hips & thighs using your own body, hand weights and bands as resistance to really challenge tone & sculpt your muscles. This total body workout is the perfect fusion of fat burning cardio, weight training, yoga & pilates.
