About Balance

Balance is the premier integrated health and wellness studio in Philadelphia.  Our mission is to bring you the best fitness experience possible. We are proud to help each client achieve success with highly trained professionals, precision testing, expert wellness coaching and personalized nutrition programming all designed with the way you live in mind. At Balance, the most important component of our facility and business are the clients who walk through our doors.  Recognizing the need for a more complete and effective solution, we are focused on being an integrated health and wellness provider with the highest level of service, safety, effectiveness, education, and satisfaction.

A 6,500 sq. ft. studio located in Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia, Balance is equipped with a main training floor, group fitness class room, indoor cycling class room and stretch lab. By offering a range of specially designed services, our goal is to inspire sustainable change in a setting that is elegant, modern and stylish. The facility has been outfitted by Technogym, a leading source in the fitness industry. The training floor offers custom personal training sessions for one person, semi-private sessions for 2-3 or small group training for 4-6 people. Group Fitness classes for all age levels and interests run daily. You will experience a variety of signature strength and conditioning classes exclusively developed by our professionals.

ON POINTE PHYSICAL THERAPY

OnPointe Physical Therapy provides evidenced-based assessment and therapeutic one-on-one care to a diverse clientele including recreational athletes, professional and college athletes, and pre-professional and professional dancers, to determine individual strength and flexibility areas of concern, and customize pre-habilitative and rehabilitative programs that maximize optimal health and fitness potential. OnPointe Physical Therapy utilizes comprehensive orthopedic examination, manual therapy techniques including joint mobilization and Graston Technique instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, Pilates-based core stabilization mat and reformer therapeutic exercise, and cold compression recovery therapy to prevent injury and improve physical performance.

PHILADELPHIA SPORTS ACUPUNCTURE

Even with the best coaches, we can push our bodies too far and end up missing workouts due to injury. At Philadelphia Sports Acupuncture, we focus on helping you stay healthy or if you are injured, get you back in the game. The practitioners at Philadelphia Sports Acupuncture are athletes themselves. Chad and Alex both competed in college level sports, so they understand the challenges of training and what it feels like to miss workouts due to injuries. The goal is to get you out of our office and back to training as soon as possible. Chad is an acupuncturist and massage therapist. Alex is an acupuncturist and yoga teacher.

 

Purpose Pilates

Private Sessions: Private sessions are 50 minutes long and are thoughtfully crafted to meet your long term fitness and wellness goals. Each session will use a mixed equipment approach to facilitate instruction that is specifically tailored to each individual client’s needs.

Duet Sessions: It’s always fun to work out with a friend and have a partner to keep you motivated. Our Duet sessions are designed to strike a balance between maximizing the benefit to both clients, while taking into consideration the fitness and wellness needs of each individual.

Virtual Sessions: Whether you are local and looking for a more flexible option, or are outside of the Philadelphia area, virtual sessions are a great alternative to in person training. No equipment is needed for these sessions as a mat-based program is utilized to facilitate the virtual components.

B Inspired Philadelphia is committed to working with underserved Philadelphia school students by providing volunteers and increasing access to existing enrichment experiences and opportunities in wellness and athletics, arts, and community engagement.
